Milestones in Our Development

First Sovereign Equity Research was founded in 1996.

At that time we were involved with several small Canadian natural resource companies and chose the name to reflect doing business with the Commonwealth.

Software development began in 1993 with a contract to build a simple, integrated, financial forecasting model to assist an automotive aftermarket consultant. The software lay dormant until several friends requested financial forecasts for their proposed businesses. Then additional development and refinements were added to satisfy client requirements. This process of client driven development has accelerated into thousands of hours and hundreds of thousands of lines of code.
